Graduate Application Instructions

All graduate students must complete the Application to Graduate and mail it or submit it to Student Administrative Services. Check the academic calendar for each semester’s due date. Applications received after this date will be subject to a $15 late fee.

Make an appointment with your advisor to complete your academic clearance form. This form is not included in this packet; your advisor will have it.

If you received a student loan while attending Naropa, you must attend a financial aid exit interview. Call Karen Leinberger in the Financial Aid Office at 303-546-3563 to schedule your interview. If you are out of the state and not returning to Boulder, you can complete this exit interview online.

You must obtain administrative signatures on an Administrative Clearance Form by attending a Clearance Fair to be held mid-November for fall graduation and mid-April for spring graduates (exact dates to be announced). A late fee of $45 will be assessed if the form is received late. Please let me know if you live out-of-state and will not be in Boulder before graduation, therefore unable to attend a Clearance Fair.

All graduates are invited to participate in Naropa’s spring commencement ceremony. Fall and summer graduates will receive information about the ceremony with their diplomas which are mailed approximately 6 to 8 weeks after the semester. If you have questions about the spring ceremony, please contact the Office of Student Affairs to get information about reserving tickets and other graduation info: 303-546-3562.

If you have any questions regarding the graduation process, please contact Mari Dark, assistant registrar, at 303-546-3539 or marid@naropa.edu. If you have specific questions about the commencement ceremony, please contact Student Affairs at 303-546-3562.
