Community

Although every technological advancement seems to make the world smaller and make distances between friends shorter, the communities available locally and immediately always play a significant role in our lives.

Students at Naropa University have the good fortune of having a strong, compassionate community of peers and mentors in fellow students and faculty in addition to the historically conscientious and active community of Boulder, Colorado.

Faculty Profiles

What makes Naropa so special? It starts with the people. The faculty and staff have arrived here with rich and often times remarkably different life experiences, which they bring to their teaching and interaction with students on many levels.

Boulder Community

Living in Boulder is an unequaled experience. Writers, performers of all kinds, outdoor enthusiasts, spiritual seekers, lovers of life and all sorts of other people find reasons to come to Boulder and stay, enriching the environment for everyone.

Naropa Students

I had lots of ideas about what I would do, but I was always sort of mystified about choosing and Naropa really afforded me the space to figure it out.
