Exceptions

Building use outside of the hours posted here must be supervised by staff or core faculty. If you have questions about exceptions to building hours, please contact your academic department’s administrator.

Academic classes and any special events, conferences, etc., falling outside these hours need to be approved BEFORE the events are publicized. Otherwise, the request may be denied and buildings may not be accessible.

Specific Dates: Semesters, holidays, breaks and practice days

• Facilities are closed during holidays and winter break.
• Facilities hours during spring break are the same as "Intersession" hours shown above.
• Facilities are opened for limited use on Practice Days.

January 16 through May 11, 2007: Spring Semester Hours

Holidays (Campuses CLOSED) and Practice Days (Limited Hours):

Martin Luther King Holiday: Monday, January 15, 2007
Shambhala Day Celebration (no classes, offices closed, buildings open for celebration activities only): Monday, February 19, 2007
Community Practice Day: Limited Hours: Wednesday, March 6, 2007
Spring Break: Saturday, March 24–Sunday, April 1, 2007 (Intersession hours)

NOTE: Commencement: Saturday, May 12 is the first day of Intersession hours. All buildings will be CLOSED, except for commencement day activities, by previous arrangement with Safety & Security.

Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend: November 22–25 (Thursday through Sunday)

NOTE: Saturday, December 15 is the first day of Intersession. Buildings will be closed except for those in use for the ceremony honoring fall graduates, by arrangement with Safety & Security.
