Seminar Application
Enrollment is open to any full-time or part-time faculty from an institution of higher education.* The seminar will be both interdisciplinary and nonsectarian, and faculty from all disciplines and spiritual traditions are welcome to apply. Preference will be given to those college and university faculty members who have previous experience with some form of contemplative practice. It is preferable that applicants will be teaching during the 2008–09 academic year.
Participant selection will be based on the following criteria:
- the applicant’s prior experience with contemplative practice;
- whether the applicant has the flexibility to change or create curriculum in a course that is suitable for contemplative modification during the following academic year;
- the manner in which the applicant plans to apply what he or she has learned in the seminar.
*Applications from faculty around the world are welcome.
To Apply:
1. Download and complete the application form. A paper copy of the application form may also be obtained by sending a request to cace@naropa.edu.
2. Assemble the following supplemental materials:
- A statement of interest including:
- your experience with contemplative practice
- your background with contemplative pedagogy/education

Send three copies of your completed application and all supplemental materials to:

Application Deadline: Applications must be postmarked no later than February 15, 2008. Decisions will be announced in March 2008. Nonrefundable $100 deposit will be due April 15 for those accepted.
