Submission Guidelines

Bombay Gin's reading period is now closed. Please check back in August 2012 for guidelines on when the board will be accepting submissions.

GUIDELINES

Please submit your previously unpublished work: up to 7 pages of poetry, up to 12 pages of prose or hybrid work, and up to 3 visual images. Submissions will be considered for the spring issue of Bombay Gin 38.2 as time and space allows. Please write in advance if you would like to submit a book review or critical essay.

For TRANSLATIONS, please include both the original language and English version; it is the writer’s responsibility to receive publication rights for the original piece.

ARTWORK should be submitted on a CD as a PDF or jpg, with minimum 720DPI; all artwork will be published as grayscale. Please include an S.A.S.E. so the board can respond to you once selections have been made.

Bombay Gin no longer accepts electronic submissions. Submissions are accepted at the Jack Kerouac School in the Chestnut House or mailed to:
