Gretchen Miller: "It’s planning and preparation time again for this year’s Buckeye Art Therapy Association’s Annual Symposium to be held September 24-25, 2010 in Dublin, Ohio...BATA’s Symposium keynote will be Michael Franklin, Ph.D., ATR-BC, who directed the undergraduate art therapy program at Bowling Green State University from 1986 to 1997 and introduced the field to me as my first art therapy professor. Words with Anne Waldman

Allyson Behnke: "This past weekend Anne Waldman came to Washington, DC to celebrate the National Gallery of Art’s exhibition of 'Beat Memories: The Photographs of Allen Ginsberg' (on view in the West Building through September 16), and to perform Allen Ginsberg’s historic and culturally iconic poem 'Howl'...I was lucky enough to tag along with her on a tour of Allen Ginsberg’s exhibit led by Sarah Greenough, senior curator and head of the department of photographs at the National Gallery of Art, on Friday morning. Later, Saturday afternoon, I had the pleasure of interviewing her."
