"Three questions with Denver DJ Narky Stares"
Westword: "The recent Naropa University graduate wandered her way from Boulder to Denver less than a year ago, where the aspiring doula and midwife began a career as one half of the DJ duo Screensavers. Along with partner Isaac Linder, Zwicky utilizes digital deejaying software to give the Miley Cyrus crowd a taste of deep house, with a little drum-and-bass in between. The two are currently spinning at Real Is a Feeling every other weekend at the Meadowlark."

Atheist ministry?
"The son of a preacher man, who recently came out of a new closet as Atheist, has been inundated with questions about my calling...I do not believe in that God, or in God as an abstract. But Atheist does not mean against the religious, or against community, or even against that which binds many followers of a God induced faith."

Denver Zine Library
"Because the Denver Zine Library has such a small budget, we are not able to pay for zines and rely on generous donations. We receive most of our zines as unsolicited donations in the mail. Most people find out about the DZL on the internet. Often when doing a search for their name or zine name online, zinesters are surprised to find a listing in the DZL catalog."

Ginsberg adapted into archivist's webcomic
"And these are the people I want to talk about, because I worry about them, archivists. It is amazing the things that people will tell you when you have no power to hire anyone, and now I’m angry. Really angry. It almost makes me want to...howl?"

Contemplative education at Vanderbilt
"The ancient practice of contemplation is being explored by many institutions of higher education as a new means of enhancing liberal education...contemplative pedagogy increasingly is considered a vital complement to critical reasoning, rebalancing liberal education to include head and heart, mind and body. Students have experienced it as an aid in focusing attention, improving concentration and accessing self-knowledge. Teachers have found that it fosters their connection to students and rejuvenates their creative engagement with teaching and research. Accordingly, the Center for Teaching is exploring the benefits of contemplative pedagogy, and other holistic means of teaching and learning, in a 'Contemplative Pedagogy Working Group' that meets monthly."

"(W)rite-ing On..."
"After chronicling my thoughts, feelings, ideas, and experiences throughout the thesis process on this blog (formerly entitled Rites of a Thesis), it seemed odd to me to simply let the blog go just because I had turned in my thesis and graduated. I don't want to merely 'shelve' my thesis nor do I want all that I got from my time at Naropa to lie dormant. I want my thesis to continue to live and breathe and become, and I would like all the teachings and experiences I had during my time at Naropa to do the same. So I am keeping the blog (changing the title), and am commiting to myself to (w)rite on as I journey forward."
