Back once more by popular demand!
The Allen Ginsberg Library and the Boulder Public Library are proud to collaboratively present:
Everything You Need To Know About Planning Your Business
Monday, April 26, 2010
3:00-4:00 PM
@ Boulder Public Library
1000 Canyon Boulevard, Boulder, CO 80302
(in the Boulder Creek Meeting Room on the first floor of the South Wing)
If you are one of the many Naropa folks who…
--is a musician, performer, visual artist or craftsperson
--teaches workshops
--is interested in starting or supporting a nonprofit organization
--plans on opening a private counseling practice, or already has one
--believes in local and sustainable economic activity
...or has any other goals or dreams that might involve the nuts and bolts of a small business, then this is the presentation for you!
In the first half of the presentation, librarian whiz Terzah Becker will introduce you to the art of business-related research and resources for creating a business plan. In the second half, a Naropa librarian will walk you through creating and using an “online file cabinet” with Google Docs.
Feel free to join the Naropa group that will gather at the bus stop across from the Lincoln Building at 2:40 PM, to take the JUMP bus down Arapahoe Ave. Or, just come straight to the Boulder Public Library in whatever way works best for you! If you must drive, make sure to park in the Arapahoe lot, where parking is free for three hours.
RSVPs appreciated but not required. If the presentation sounds interesting but you won’t be able to make it, please do let us know — we seem on the way to doing one of these presentations a semester.
