I approach psychotherapy with appreciation for the power of present-moment awareness, somatic intelligence, and creativity. With 8 years’ experience collaborating with clients to promote healing and balance, my work is marked by depth, humor, and high quality discernment. In a cooperative exchange, we identify and compassionately investigate working edges that lead to greater life satisfaction.
I have integrated post-graduate training in Body-Mind Psychotherapy, Authentic Movement, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, NMT, MI, TF-CBT, and competent LGBTIQ care into my work, applying effective approaches within authentic relationships to bring about change.
My areas of expertise include ongoing development, self-actualization, trauma, depression, anxiety, life-limiting relational patterns, self-esteem, body image, internalized oppression, and stalled creativity. Periodically, I offer Dances from the Dirt, a (modern) dance therapy workshop for those seeking growth through the intersection of deepening embodiment and creative process.
In addition to private practice, I have worked in residential treatment, day treatment, community-based outpatient, and hospital settings. I am a board member of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the American Dance Therapy Association.
