Metta Psychotherapy and Bodywork
2366 Eastlake Ave E, Suite 207
Seattle, WA 98102
My approach to therapy combines the Western influences of relational psychoanalysis, humanistic psychology, and attachment theory with the Buddhist practices of mindfulness and compassion, as well as the Buddhist teachings of karma, and of the inherently unlimited human potential for happiness. To me, the power of therapy lies in a depth of inquiry within a relationship of safety and trust. My work is to bring all of my training in clarity and compassion to the therapeutic encounter, in order to facilitate a deepening of clients' self-understanding, and to cultivate an environment in which clients may transform their perceived limitations into doorways of healing and well-being.
