I like to see us side by side and want to be on your team. I believe you always hold the true answer to what is needed for your growth and expansion. With playful challenge, I focus on working with what's happening in the present moment. Knowing that our present is sometimes informed by our past, I enjoy helping others integrate past experiences into their present reality. I don't have all your answers, but I have have found out how to keep myself centered in the middle of a chaotic world. This process is always unfolding and takes deep attention. Depending on your personality and life circumstance, I'm sure we can find what is helpful to you. My biggest influence comes from a body-centered lens using mindfulness and awareness practices. This is due to my training and belief that we hold our experiences and greatest guides within our bodies. At times they need attention and permission to release or find their true path. Whether this is a small or large part of our work together, we will sculpt our time so that it best suits you, your goals and your progress. If you don't have goals and you're unsure where to start, we can take it one step at a time at a pace that suits both you and your growth.

My Teachers and Trainings

  • I received my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Mount Saint Mary's University in Maryland and my Masters of Arts in Somatic Psychology from Naropa University in Colorado. My degree in Somatic Psychology (concentration in Dance Movement Therapy) focused specifically on psychological and movement development and how they relate to each other.
  • I am a Registered Psychotherapist and a Registered Dance Movement Therapist (R-DMT). I have facilitated groups based on developmental movement, yoga and dance, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (known as DBT) with multiple different population groups.
  • I received training as a Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I studied over 100 dietary theories, lifestyle management techniques, and coaching methods with some of the world's top health experts. I have also studied other systems such as Ayurveda, women's health issues, and the spiritual / physical / energetic / emotional ways we digest our experiences.
  • I received my Yoga Teacher Certification at Yandara Yoga Institute and have continued teaching and studying privately and publicly with clients and students in their homes and in yoga studios. I've studied deeply with a dance community that focuses on the use of rhythm and developmental movement practices.
