Information on Other Local Libraries
Naropa students, faculty and staff can make use of other local libraries as a supplement to Allen Ginsberg Library collections and resources.
University of Colorado at Boulder Norlin Library
Naropa affiliates can come to our library to pick up a Norlin Library voucher, which
can then be used to set up a borrowing account at CU Libraries. ( See more information on the voucher program.) Databases can be accessed in the library but not remotely.

Boulder Public Library
A library card may be obtained by presenting a photo ID and documentation of a current
Boulder County mailing address. With an account, one can search the Prospector unified catalog and request material from 23 participating academic, public and special libraries.

Denver Public Library
All Colorado residents are eligible for a library card. Library card holders can
check out books and access databases remotely. High quality databases of interest
to Naropa students include America: History and Life, Congressional Universe, CQ Researcher, Expanded Academic, Historical Abstracts, Literature Resource Center, National Newspaper Index, and Statistical Universe.

University of Colorado at Denver Auraria Library
Auraria Library is open to the public for use of its collection “with some restrictions.”
Public patrons are granted limited privileges when they present a picture school ID,
Colorado ID, or Colorado Driver's License.

University of Denver Penrose Library
Anyone can visit Penrose Library and use the library’s resources there. To borrow
up to 5 books, we must first fill out a Referral Card and have it signed by the Naropa Librarian.

Regis University Dayton Memorial Library
Anyone can visit Dayton Memorial Library and use the library’s resources there. Non-affiliates
can get a special borrowers card (up to 6 books for 21 days) with a picture ID.

Iliff School of Theology Taylor Library
Anyone can visit Taylor Library and use the library’s resources there. Different
levels of borrowing privileges are offered depending on your place of residence.

National Theatre Conservatory Jones Library
Jones Library is open to the public and materials can be checked out (only a few
at a time). The catalog is not online. To find out if the library owns a particular
