Your annual gift will provide general support of Naropa University operations. If you choose to designate a specific fund within the Annual Fund, you gift will support general operations for the designated area. General operations include:

Scholarships
Programs and Facilities Enhancements
Faculty/Staff Professional Development
Schools and Departments

You may also designate your annual gift to specific academic programs at Naropa University. Naropa’s academic programs are housed within five schools. You may designate your annual gifts to one or more of the five schools and/or to individual programs within the schools.

Endowed Scholarships

What is an endowed scholarship?
You can create a permanent legacy for Naropa University students by establishing an endowed scholarship. Gifts to an endowed scholarship fund remain untouched; a portion of the income earned from the fund finances student scholarships. Thus, when you give an endowed scholarship, the fund will continue in perpetuity.

Through the legacy of endowed scholarships, generations of Naropa University students will be afforded the opportunity to learn in a contemplative environment where knowledge and wisdom are infused with rigorous academic studies.

Please join us in earning matching donations for your gift to create an endowed scholarship.

Naropa University is a recipient of the Strengthening Institutions federal grant under Title III. The grant will match our fundraising efforts for new endowed scholarships dollar for dollar up to $350,000. This would increase our endowed scholarships by 60 percent. Please take this opportunity to earn matching donations for your gift. Gifts must be transferred to the endowment in fiscal years 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2014-15 to qualify. Your gifts to existing endowments are also welcome.
