Events for Prospective Students

Each year, Naropa University's Office of Admissions puts on a variety of on-campus events to help introduce prospective students to Naropa's unique educational approach and student experience. If you are interested in applying to Naropa, these events are not to miss!

Undergraduate Open Houses

Undergraduate Open Houses provide a chance for prospective undergraduate students and their families to engage with Naropa's campus culture and curriculum in person. These one-day events include an introduction to contemplative education and practice, an explanation of our one-of-a-kind curriculum, student panels, a resource fair, sample classroom experiences, and time to meet with faculty, admissions staff, and financial aid counselors.

Transfer Student Open Houses

In these events designed especially for transfer undergraduate students, applicants will get the chance to learn about Naropa; meet with faculty, students, & alumni; speak with admissions counselors; and explore how Naropa fits into their future. These evening events are relaxed, and our friendly staff is here to help you understand how you can use your past college experience and credits to begin your Naropa journey.  These events will last from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

Undergraduate Preview Weekends

Undergraduate Preview Weekends offer prospective undergraduate students and their families the opportunity to experience Naropa firsthand. These two-day events include an introduction to contemplative education and practice, sample classes, student and parent panels, activity fairs, tours of campus and Snow Lion housing, financial aid sessions, group activities, meals, and more! Whether you are still considering applying or have already been accepted, an Undergraduate Preview Weekend is a great chance to get a feel for how a Naropa education could meet your unique educational and personal needs.

Graduate Open Houses

Graduate Open Houses provide a chance for prospective graduate students and their families to engage with Naropa's campus culture and curriculum in person. These events include a talk on contemplative education, an introduction to contemplative practice, student performances, financial aid presentations, and time with faculty from all graduate departments, admissions staff, and financial aid counselors.

Graduate Psychology Preview Days

Graduate Psychology Preview Days is a weekend specially designed to give prospective students in-depth information about Naropa's MA psychology degree programs. Packed with information and activities designed to familiarize prospective students with psychology at Naropa, the Preview also gives a general overview of Naropa's  unique academic environment and student life as well. Events include: President's talk on contemplative education, introduction to contemplative practice, panels and discussions with current students, faculty, and alumni, class participation, and more!

Webinars and Live Chats

Webinars are online presentations for prospective students that explain the various aspects of Naropa's unique education.
