The office of Undergraduate Advising, located in Chestnut House, is staffed by full-time academic advisors who are available to meet with students regarding every aspect of their academic journeys, from orientation through graduation. Advisors are available during standard business hours whenever school is in session, and by appointment at other times.

Shyamaa has served as a teaching assistant for both graduate and undergraduate level psychology and religious studies classes. Shyamma has also led workshops and training modules on various themes within the field of psychology/psychotherapy at other institutions. Her style of advising is empowerment based, serving as a resource, academic guide and liaison to the department and the university for students in the BA psychology department and any student having interest in the psychology department. Shyamma also maintains a half-time psychotherapy private practice in Boulder.

Keith serves as a contact for students' personal and academic issues and aids in the process of helping the student develop skills and resources to have a meaningful and full experience while attending Naropa. He sees the advising process as an educational experience that extends beyond the classroom and into day-to-day living. Keith is an adjunct faculty member in the undergraduate and graduate psychology department.

A non-traditional student herself for many years, she finds great joy in supporting students through the entire educational experience. She is also a devoted wife and mother who has found parenting to be her most significant educational endeavor so far.
