Michael Schene is about to receive his Master of Fine Arts (creative writing), with an emphasis in poetry. He has taught for twenty years at community colleges,
Florida State University, and on an intermittent basis for the National Park Service.
Besides his book title, Hopes, Dreams, and Promises, he has edited two books, and published more than twenty journal articles. He has
worked for the National Park Service for thirty years, the last fifteen years he worked
in the environmental field.
