Vanilla ice cream limestone
Crystallized with chocolate swirls
And compacted into ovum shape
Shares its cold climate in my hand,
Rolling smoothly from my fingertips to my wrist
And back again.
Hard and highly polished,
The silent sculpted antique
Gestates creative thought
Until it takes flight
And hatches magic.
