Elisabeth Joyce is a professor in the Department of English and Theatre Arts at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Her focus is on twentieth-century American poetry and the visual arts. Previous work includes Cultural Critique and Abstraction: Marianne Moore and the Avant-Garde (Bucknell University Press, 1999) and 'The Small Space of a Pause': Susan Howe's Poetry and the Spaces Between (Bucknell University Press, forthcoming).
