Allan Andre hails from the East Village in New York City. He is a musician as well
as a writer and is double majoring in music and writing at Naropa. He is a DIY enthusiast
and prolific zinester, having published several chapbooks and CDs of prose, music,
and poetry. His project for the last several years has been to hitch across North
America with a portable typewriter and improvise poems on the street corners of major
cities. Thanks to carbon copies, he now has about two thousand poems to his name.
