Jane Wodening is a writer of short stories and legends and other mysteries. She has
seven published books of short stories, numerous participations in anthologies, and
a memoir, Living Up There, about a ten-year period when she lived alone in a tiny cabin at an elevation of
ten thousand feet in the Rocky Mountains. Jane has always enjoyed hiking in the mountains,
being with animals, gardening, making image-rich quilts and appliqués, and reading
fortunes with playing cards. She has five children, fourteen grandchildren, and one
great-grandchild.
