Diana K. McLean earned her MFA in Creative Writing from Naropa University in December 2009, when her last name was still Serquina. She earned her degree as a low-residency student while living in Spokane, Washington, where she still lives with her young son, but by this time next year plans to be living in or near Boulder, Colorado. She teaches creative writing in Spokane area schools through the Writers in Residence program coordinated by Eastern Washington University. She is the founder and editor of www.poetic-justice.org.
