Margaret Randall lived in Latin America (Mexico, Cuba, Nicaragua) for almost a quarter
century. Upon her return to the United States, she was ordered deported because of
the content of some of her books. She won her case in 1989. Among her recent titles
are Narrative of Power: Essays for an Endangered Century, Into Another Time: Grand Canyon Reflections, Stones Witness and To Change the World: My Years in Cuba. Their Backs to the Sea will be out from Wings Press in 2009. She lives in Albuquerque.
