Welcome to Issue Four of not enough night. In this issue, we're taking the very significant
step of publishing the work of our first set of MFA Creative Writing graduates: Christina
Burress, Jenice Gharib, Kelly McKnight and Dru Philippou. Each of these writers started
the program in fall 2003 and graduated last spring. Now they are continuing their
writing lives in their respective communities of San Diego, Santa Fe, Seattle and
Taos. It has been delightful to see their work deepen and evolve, and we're certain
that you will find it gratifying, as you will with all the other contributions to
this issue.
