Degree Requirements

This describes the 2007–08 curriculum for the MA in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology. Naropa University faculty and staff are committed to regular review and revision of the curriculum, to reflect new findings and understandings in the field, feedback from alumni and the professional community, and faculty expertise. Please inquire with the Office of Admissions and/or the Department of Transpersonal Counseling Psychology for any curricular changes that are being considered for 2008–09.

Body awareness course (2 credits) may be taken at any time.

Students are expected to complete the Transpersonal Counseling Psychology program in three years. However, those who are unable to do so due to family, work or health constraints may petition the department in writing for permission to extend the program to four years. Approval of such petitions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
