MA Interdisciplinary Studies
The Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies provides a creative and challenging invitation for students to design their own program of study by working within two or three Naropa disciplines. In the required Proseminar course, students examine the theories and methodologies that are inherent in the diverse disciplines of the university. With this background, students then pursue a well-defined plan of study, called the Learning Agreement, which is an intensive investigation into the areas of their specific interdisciplinary focus. Two faculty mentors are chosen by the graduate student to work with them toward their master’s thesis.
