Three Way Stop Dance

Three Way Stop Dance

This is a dance performance—a dynamic evening of work by Barbara Dilley, Laura Ann Samuelson, and Kat Gurley.

Barbara Dilley will read/perform It's Off in the Distance, from her forthcoming book, This Very Moment: teaching thinking dancing with Veronica Santoyo (director), Vickie Curtis, Elizabeth Horab, and Molly Kampf.

Laura Ann Samuelson will present KITSCH, an original solo work which premiered at Boulder International Fringe Festival this past September. KITSCH is an investigation of the "attempt" in a world focused on "accomplishment."

The dance ensemble, choreographed by Kat Gurley and dancers, is a piece about the continuous motion of life. The dancers fall, swirl, catch, release, and move together, making discoveries about themselves and the collective body they are a part of.

Come witness these three original creations with performances by students and faculty.
