University guidelines for snow closures
The snow closure policy is that Naropa University will remain open and classes will be held except under extreme adverse conditions. If conditions are severe, University officials will attempt to make a decision by 6 a.m. as to whether or not to hold classes or close the University. Announcements will be made through the University’s Emergency Notification System (text message) and through the media. The University’s switchboard (303-444-0202) message will be updated as soon as a decision is made and a message will be put on the Naropa University website.
We realize that there are times when road conditions in Boulder are acceptable, yet travel from some parts of the surrounding area may be inadvisable. We expect each student, faculty and staff member to make whatever decisions are necessary for their own personal safety.
