Naropa's Ecological Impact

As part of Naropa University's signing of the American College and University President Climate Commitment document, within one year Naropa will complete a comprehensive inventory of all the institution's greenhouse gas emissions including emissions from electricity, heating and commuting, and will update the inventory every other year thereafter.

Within two years of signing this document, Naropa will develop an institutional action plan for becoming climate neutral, which will include a target date for achieving climate neutrality.

A Carbon Footprint is a measure of the impact human activities have on the environment in terms of the amount of green house gases produced, measured in units of carbon dioxide.
