Being a calm person does not mean having a life with no busyness, stress, or confusion. Becoming a compassionate person does not mean that you don't have frequent episodes of strong anger, jealousy, and craving. If we can connect with a genuine motivation, then any state of mind becomes an ideal basis for connecting with the Buddha's path of taming the mind and training the mind. During this weekend program, Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche will share how calmness and compassion can be woven seamlessly into our lives, no matter how many plates we have spinning.
